The PEESA III Meeting Nr. 5 was held on the 22-25 January 2019 at Durban Unibersity of Technology (DUT) in Durban, South Africa. The Meeting was attended by representatives of HSW, HSFL, USZ, LBUS, ASIIN, CPUT, DUT, TUT and VUT. The Meeting was organised and hosted by DUT.

During the PEESA III Project Board (PB) meeting after a detailed discussion of the progress on the work packages, the preparation of the PEESA III Technical Implementation Report was initiated, the partners’ responsibilities were distributed. Reporting to the PEESA III coordinator and related deadlines were revealed. In addition, the project budget was discussed with the partners by headings and attention was paid on the eligibility of costs. Financial documentation was considered in detail.

PEESA III Project partners from CPUT, DUT, TUT and VUT made presentations about the situation Self-Evaluation Reports for Accreditation application at their universities. The issues related to the preparation of Self-Evaluation Reports for Accreditation application were identified. The PEESA III Project Meeting participants concluded that further efforts in the preparation of Self-Evaluation Reports for Accreditation application should be put on a more detailed description.

During the PEESA III Meeting Nr. 5 the participants were involved in Workshop on on- line/blended learning and Analytics delivered by the CPUT team. The Workshop focused blended learning and analytics, new programme design, course mapping, setting goals, analytical reports on goals.

Presentations and fruitful discussions of the developed MA programmes by CPUT, DUT, TUT and VUT were carried out during the PEESA III Meeting Nr. 5, too.
PEESA III Dissemination and Exploitation issues were considered as well. The discussion focused on: Presentation of Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication Strategy by Luclaire Airey and Prof. Anthony Staak, Presentation of the Dissemination Event in Sibiu in October 2019.

A draft of Recommendations on University-Enterprise Cooperation was presented. It included model diversity, modelling technologies, best practice, evaluation of cooperation. Further activities are aimed at carrying out the survey and presenting its results.
The PEESA III Meeting participants have visited: DUT university,  Durban cityTRANSNET Company visit,  Durban Harbour, Moses Mabhida Stadium.
