During 16-19 October 2018, the PEESA III Dissemination Event in conjunction with ICEBE Conference was hosted at University of Szczecin. The Conference enabled project participants to present on the project outcomes and deliverables and provide a forum to discuss the challenges in engineering education especially in the field of energy, confronting the Southern African region. In the Dissemination Conference programme a number of messages were addressed by Keynote Address: Ronny Adhikarya, USA, Educational Challenges in Preparing for Societal Changes & Regulations in Artificial Intelligence Innovation, Sharing Economy & Post-Truth Era, Keynote Address: Anthony Staak, South Africa, The PEESA projects: International Collaboration on Engineering Education, Keynote Address: Dariusz Rosati, Member of the European Parliament, Poland, European Union in transregional cooperation. The messages facilitated the discussion on the involvement of local government and university- enterprise co-operation in order to satisfy the needs in engineering education especially in the field of energy. During the Dissemination Conference, 3-day dissemination conference, tour of USZ university and Szczecin city, meeting with local government representatives (Marshall) as well as a member of the European Parliament, visit to Kostrzyn-Slubice Special Economic Zone, enterprise visits to Teleskop in Kostrzyn-Slubice Special Economic Zone, Starka Cellars in Szczecin and Turnau Vineyard in Baniewice were organised.
