The PEESA III Meeting Nr. 12 was held in a hybid mode from 8th-10th September and was organised and held by Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). 
The Meeting was attended by representatives of HSW, HSFL, USZ, LBUS, ASIIN, CPUT, DUT, TUT and VUT.

During the PEESA III meeting after a detailed discussion of the progress on the work packages, the responsibilities of partners were re-considered in an action plan.

Issuses discussed and presented during the meetings included also:

  1. PEESA III fiancial matters
  2. PEESA III final matters
  3. discussion on challanges of electronics industry based on the presentation on “Challenges Facing the Electronics Industry in South Africa” conducted by Mr. Vernon Norton representing CIRCOR Solutions
  4. discussion on supply chains challenges based on presentation on “Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Global Supply Chains – A Delphi study” conducted by Ms. Warasthe (HSFL)
  5. ASIIN presentation on “Final Results of Biannual Surveys + Status of Self Assessment Reports”
  6. HSFL presentation on “Train the trainer course programme”
  7. presentation on “My Digital ChallengeUnderstanding disruptive Digitalization with problem-based Learning in the Field” conducted by Mr. Dirk Mueller (HSFL)
  8. CPUT presentation about the current status of the Master Programmes conducted by Dr Bronwyn Swartz

 

The PEESA III Meeting participants have also visited the Groot Constatia Company – wine farm with innovative solar system solutions and !Khwa ttu – San heritage, culture and education centre.
